Jamie Lagarde is a successful serial entrepreneur and experienced executive whose wealth of knowledge helped launch Sedera in 2014. Utilizing his 15 years in healthcare and 20 years of operational and information technology expertise, Jamie sets the strategic direction for the organization as its CEO. Jamie serves as the Chair of the Goodwill Central Texas Board. Jamie, his wife Alisha, and their three young boys are parishioners of Saint John Neumann Church, and are founding members of the Austin Legatus Chapter.
Emily joined Sedera in early 2016. Her career began with investment banking and she then transitioned to internal strategy/M&A roles at Oxygen Media, HBO, and IAC. Emily is also the Co-Founder and Financial Director of 100cameras.org, a non-profit that uses photography to raise awareness and funding for communities facing racial, social and economic injustice around the world.
Tom’s career extends more than 30 years in the health insurance and managed healthcare industry with tenures at such organizations as CIGNA, PacifiCare, United Healthcare, and HealthMarkets. Tom also spent a number of years in the Internet health information and e-commerce arena with the former U.S. Surgeon General, C. Everett Koop. Tom has been quoted and/or published in such publications as Business Insurance, The Washington Weekly, and Managed Care On-line.
Dañia joined Sedera after previously working in the non-profit sector and with high tech and insurance organizations building infrastructures that allowed for organizational growth. Dañia serves on the board of a number of local non-profits and is involved in helping promote women in leadership throughout Austin.

Bill Thomas joined Sedera after spending 21 years in the Global Records Management Industry. Motivated by his passion for improving the lives of others, Bill found Sedera Health an ideal opportunity to revolutionize the way we take care of people’s healthcare needs. Originally from Ohio, Bill has called Austin home since 2011 and is a proud dad of two daughters. His adventurous spirit finds him hiking and exploring the natural side of Austin and he finds his most creative side in the kitchen.
Stephen is a Navy veteran who later attended college followed by seminary and law school at Regent University. After law school, Stephen clerked for the Texas Supreme Court and ran a private law practice, appearing on CNN, 20/20, Fox News, and multiple print and media outlets for his pro-bono legal work. Married with five children, Stephen has a passion for building up the community with love and grace.
